Which documents should I submit with a visa application?

Holders of visa authorization can visit the Embassy during opening hours 9am-12pm, weekdays without appointment. Please bring required documents mentioned below.

• Documentation to submit with an entry visa application for work in Switzerland

  The following documents are in general required when applying for an entry visa for work in Switzerland:

  • authorisation issued by the cantonal authority (original or copy)
  • application for a long stay visa (visa D)
  • valid passport (original)
  • a recent photograph
  • visa fees

  If your stay in Switzerland does not exceed 90 days, please contact the Swiss representation.

It will take about one week to process the visa after submission of required documents.
